Here's the Process

Take a look at my portfolio and get to know me and if you can see yourself in my photos and you think we’re a good match then fill out that inquiry form.

After the inquiry, I’ll reach back out by email and we’ll meet or have a phone call to discuss your vision & wants. We'll sign a contract and start planning all the details! Expect that I'll be working right alongside your planner and am only an email away. I've created resource guides, recommended vendor lists, and other little steps along the way to ensure you'll be taken care of and are my top priority.
This is an awesome opportunity for me to get to know you guys! I'll help you come up with ideas, locations, and send you my outfit guide so we can nail your vision.

I'll show up early, introduce myself to everyone, and start looking around the venue to get a lay of the land. I'll tell your story as honestly as possible while guiding you through photos. I'll prioritize letting you be with you family and friends & treat everyone with as much love and care as humanly possible!

You’ll get your first photo preview within the next 24-48 hours, with some highlights from the day a full gallery will follow 2 months after. It will be an online gallery where you have access to download in web size or high resolution. You can also buy prints right from the online site I send you.

Of Course! I am local to Birmingham, Alabama in the South East. If you are local to Birmingham or plan to travel here, there are no additional fees for travel. I LOVE to travel and want to see more of the world. I would love to come to you or travel with you anywhere in the world for destination weddings & elopements or portrait sessions. Travel fees for any destination outside of the Birmingham area will be evaluated based on the location.

Frequently Asked Questions
Each session and wedding is different and the gallery size will vary, but I promise to include plenty of what is captured. I don't like having a limit because I don't believe in withholding anything back from you. If you want to see full galleries don't hesitate to ask! I am happy to send one to you so you get an idea of what I deliver.
How many images do we get back?
All the photos will be delivered to an online gallery. You are able to favorite images and share them with others. All of my online galleries have the option to purchase prints and canvases straight to your doorstep! Just browse all of the different print options and find what works best for your needs!
How do I receive my photos? Will there be hard copies?
While I know that Alabama weather can be unpredictable, I always encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it’s beautiful and unique in photos. If it is harsh enough that it would make for a shitty time at our shoot (or ruin my gear), we will make the call 2-3 hours prior to your scheduled time whether or not we are able to proceed. A reschedule will be made as soon as possible following the scheduled date.
What if there is bad weather?
Rox is EVERYTHING- literally. She is an expert at reading the room and redirecting the mood based on what you need. She is a LIFE SAVER and made all the difference! Honestly by the end of our wedding, she felt more like family than our photographer- there is nothing she can't do! Rox is exactly who you need behind the camera and in the room on your wedding day!

Let me tell you, this was the funnest photoshoot I have ever done. There was never a dull moment and Rox knew exactly how to get me out of my shell. She’s super sweet, funny and will show you exactly the best poses for the moment. She truly made me feel beautiful and hyped me up the whole time. Her professionalism is top tear and she communicates well with directions, her creative vision, as well as what poses would flatter the best. I was hesitant going into the shoot but I am so glad I chose Rox to capture these beautiful photos of me.

Rox was happy even at 5 am, and so easy to talk to and get along with. Showing up we were prepared and felt we knew clearly what the plan was. I’m the lost photogenic type so her encouragement made me feel more comfortable and confident during the shoot. We look at the pictures daily. Life is hectic and they’re a good reminder of why we chose each other and continue to choose each other every day.

I have known Rox since college and finally got to reconnect for some amazing photos! Wesley and I warmed up so quickly (and we are SO awkward for photos lol) I knew when I looked through her work that’s exactly the style and feeling I was wanting and she did such a phenomenal job capturing our love. She helped with prompts when we didn’t know what to do and didn’t mind making sure we got the shot we wanted. The entire session was such a treat. Can’t wait for the next time we need some photos. I think the best way I can sum up our experience is how much my husband enjoyed it. My husband is not the photo person in this relationship. Rox made us both feel so comfortable and made sure we had so much fun during our photo shoot!! When we got our photos back, my husband has never been so complimentary of photos of us. Neither of us could pick favorites!
